Avignon Gourmet Tours

Can I show up without a booking and join the tour?
No, Avignon Gourmet Tour needs to be booked online since we need to know the exact number of participants in advance to organize the tastings and advise our food providers. The booking is confirmed once the deposit has been paid.

Is it secure to book online?
Yes, we are using Paypal for our online payments which guarantees the protection of your bank/card details. Besides, you can choose to pay with a Paypal account if you have one or use your credit card.

Where is the meeting point?
The tour starts in the city center of Avignon but the exact meeting point is sent by email once the customer has confirmed his booking and paid the deposit.

I wish to cancel my booking, how do I process?
If you change your mind and wish to cancel your booking you can do so via email at info@avignongourmetours.com. However, the deposit paid (15euros per person) is non-refundable but we would be more than happy to reschedule your booking for another day.
Is there a minimum of people for the tour to run?
Yes, a minimum of 2 people is requiered to run the tour.

Can the tour be cancelled in case of bad weather?
Although it’s unlikely that you get bad weather while on holiday in Provence, the few rainy days we have down here don’t stop us from showing you our beautiful city, even with a grey sky! Rain or shine, our tours will run!

I have food allergies/restrictions, can I still join the tour?
Of course! We adapt our tastings to your diet so make sure to let us know when you book your tour so we can arrange the food alternatives. We always try to find tasty solutions but keep in mind that in France you don’t always have alternatives for specific diets, so it will not depend on us, but on what our food providers can offer.

What is the amount of walking involved?
Avignon is a small town and on the tour we will be covering one part of the old city center. The walking involved is no more than 1mile/1.3Km so anyone can join the tour. Since it is a flat town, there will be no hilly surprises! Just wear comfy shoes and appropriate clothing (temperature can go up to 40°c in July).
